In 2023, due to the wear and tear of one of the existing old cranes, we delivered a new overhead crane with a grab, which supplies key raw materials to the production of glass packaging at Vetropack Straža d.d. The new crane performs its work even faster and, above all, more safely.
Despite the fact that the crane has a lifting capacity of only 6t, due to its classification in the high working class HC4, S6, it is very robustly made and weighs over 29t without the grab. The running wheels are 500mm in diameter, and it also has side wheels installed for additional guidance of the crane on the crane rail.
The crane is operated from a cabin fixed on the bridge, which is equipped with a heated seat, control panel, industrial air conditioning and control panel.
For lifting bulk material, the crane has an electro-hydraulic grab with a capacity of 1.5 m3. This can be removed and a conventional rotating hook with a lifting capacity of 6t can be installed on a prepared adapter,
which is useful when performing maintenance work on other equipment under the crane.
Due to the fast movements, in addition to the two-stage limit switches, additional safety limit switches are installed in all directions, which further increase the level of safety.
The bridge crane is equipped with drives from the renowned manufacturer SEW, Danfoss frequency controllers, and Siemens PLC and diagnostics.
We offer the client fast service support and troubleshooting in a very short time, which is usually the same day (a few hours) or the next day at the latest.
